Robert Clark

U.S. Veteran

Robert "Bob" W. Clark, 74, of Glen Rose passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at his home. He was born September 9, 1937 the son of Ernest and Sally (Beason) Clark. Robert served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne. He was a heavy equipment operator for Union Carbide/Stratcor and Acme Brick.

Preceding him in death are his parents and daughter, Sherry Lynn Clark.

Survivors include wife, whom he married on April 4, 1962, Opal Faye (Green) Clark; daughters, Ginger Wiley and husband William and Kelly Rice and husband Randy both of Glen Rose; brother, James Clark of Glen Rose; sister, Polly Barger of North Little Rock; seven grandchildren: Kimberly Wiley, Amber Eckman, Hannah Clardy, Hope Caddy, Jacob Rice, Daniel Rice and Tyler Wiley and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 5th at 11:30am, with military honors at Fairplay Cemetery with Brother Larry Ballard officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00am prior to service at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern. Pallbearers will be Jacob Rice, Daniel Rice, Tyler Wiley, Sam Barger, and James Clark.
