Raymond "Skip" Fetters, age 79, of Malvern passed away July 4, 2012 at Arkansas Hospice Center in Hot Springs. He was born April 9, 1933 the son of Clarence and Elede (Corliss) Fetters, in Dayton, South Dakota. Raymond was a welder at Anthony Timberland for thirty-three years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed building things with wood, including bird boxes. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother and sister, special friend Rick McJunkin.
Survivors, wife, to whom he married October 31, 2004, Rosemary Fetters; step-son, Christopher Wayne Beck of California; daughter, Mary Jean Fetters Sharp and husband Dwite, Grandchildren, Ricci Ziegler all of Council Grove, Kansas, and grandson Ryan Edward Sharp of North Carolina, brother, Oren Charles Fetters of Washington; special friend, Jill McJunkin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 7th from 2:00-4:00pm at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mercy Hospital and Arkansas Hospice nurses and staff.
